Burning Beeswax Candles
How to Burn Your Beeswax Candle
Trim the wick to about 1/4 inch before each burn.
The first burn of a pillar candle should go until the wax pool reaches evenly about an 1/8" from the edge of the candle, this prevents tunneling.
Burn candles away from drafts to avoid uneven burning or flickering.
Keep the wick trimmed to 1/4" and dip the wick in the wax pool to extinguish.
For pillar candles: After extinguishing the candle, while the wax at the top is slightly soft, gently squeeze the top so that the edge leans slightly inward.
Extinguish taper candles every 2 to 3 hours and trim the wick to 1/4" to help prevent dripping.
Never burn a candle unattended and keep out of reach of pets and children.
Enjoy the clean, natural glow of real beeswax!
